Welcome

Welcome to “Bring Your Own Table,” a blog about Women’s Entrepreneurial Ecosystem.  One of my teachers, Natalia Oberti Noguera, often quotes Midy Aponte, saying, “If you don’t have a seat at the table, bring your own chair.”  I love that attitude.  I also love the idea that we can build a wholly new culture from the ground up, thus the name of this blog.

Women are building a new entrepreneurial ecosystem, which includes startup founders, investors, incubator leaders, and many other supporters of innovation led by women. For more on this, see my first post, “Building Women’s Entrepreneurial Culture.”

My intention is to open a space for conversation about what values women want to reflect in their work.  I also want to co-create with you a knowledge base of practices that support those values in our entrepreneurial ecosystem.

I look forward to interviewing many of you to gather your wisdom on these topics, and I welcome you as a guest blogger.  Please leave a reply or contact me if you are interested in participating.

Love,
Suzanne

If we’re creating a world where women don’t feel compelled to show cleavage to get ahead, I’m interested! Let’s find our financial independence on our own terms!

    • So glad to hear from you Enid! If you want to see some of my latest activities along this line, check out my company, Wingpact, at wingpact.com and also on Facebook and Twitter.
